This policy explains how APS Projects ("AI Yuva", "we", "us") handles personal data when you visit our website, book tests as a customer, or take part as a tester. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian laws.
1. Who we are
AI Yuva is a product testing service based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. For the purposes of the DPDP Act, AI Yuva is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here.
2. Data we collect
Customers (brands)
- Name, work email, phone number and password (stored as a secure hash)
- Company name, website, industry, city and GSTIN
- Test briefs, product links and any test login details you provide
- Billing and payment records
Testers
- Name, email, phone number and password (stored as a secure hash)
- City, state, city type, languages, age band, gender (optional), occupation
- Phone model and price band, internet type, shopping apps used, availability
- UPI ID for payouts
- Screen and voice recordings, written feedback, quality ratings and payout history
Everyone
- Messages sent through our contact form
- Basic technical data such as IP address and browser type, used for security and to prevent abuse
3. How we use it
- To create and secure your account, including email verification by one-time code
- To match testers to tests, run sessions and deliver reports to customers
- To send invoices, collect payments and pay testers
- To reply to messages and send service emails about your account or tests
- To prevent fraud, abuse and fake submissions
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations
We process your data on the basis of the consent you give when you sign up or submit a form, and for legitimate uses permitted under the DPDP Act, such as complying with law. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Test recordings
Testers are asked for consent before each recording. Recordings show the tester's screen and voice while using the customer's product. We ask testers not to show their face, contacts, messages or other personal information on screen. AI tools are used to transcribe, translate and summarise recordings; a person on our team reviews the results.
5. Who we share it with
- Customers see a tester's first name, city, age band, languages and phone type, along with their recording and feedback for that customer's test. Customers never see a tester's phone number, email or UPI ID.
- Service providers who help us run AI Yuva โ web hosting, email delivery, payment processing and AI transcription โ under contracts that limit their use of the data to providing their service to us.
- Authorities, when required by law.
Some service providers may process data outside India. When that happens, we only use providers in countries not restricted by the Government of India and we require appropriate safeguards.
6. How long we keep it
- Account and profile data: while your account is active, or until you ask us to delete it
- Test recordings: 90 days after delivery, unless the customer asks us to keep them longer under a written agreement
- Contact messages: up to 2 years
- Invoices, payment and payout records: as long as Indian tax and accounting laws require
7. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, one-time email codes, two-step admin login, access limited to staff who need it, and regular backups. If a personal data breach occurs, we will inform affected people and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
8. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can:
- Ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is used
- Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data โ most details can be edited from your dashboard
- Withdraw consent and ask us to delete your data โ see our data deletion page
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to
- Raise a grievance with us, and then with the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied

9. Children
AI Yuva is only for adults. Testers must be 18 or older, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we will delete the account.
10. Cookies
We use one essential session cookie to keep you logged in and protect forms from misuse. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our contact page shows an embedded Google Map, which is subject to Google's own privacy policy.
